Diploma in Montessori Teacher Training

Empowering educators with professional methodologies for children aged 2.5 to 6 years.

Course Overview

The Diploma in Montessori Teacher Training at Meet Montessori Institute is designed for aspirants wishing to master early childhood pedagogy. Built upon Dr. Maria Montessori's original concepts, the program provides comprehensive training in guiding child development during their "sensitive periods."

Unlike regular teacher training, this diploma course gives significant focus to using concrete scientific apparatus rather than pure textbook learning. Students learn to set up classroom environments, understand child behavior, prepare elaborate lessons, and make learning an effortless joy for children.

Curriculum Syllabus

Our curriculum is split into theoretical foundations and hands-on material presentation. Each trainee prepares standard albums covering five modules:

Focuses on developing coordinator control, fine motor skills, self-care habits, and social grace in children. Includes lessons on cleaning, pouring, threading, spooning, and classroom care.

Presenting scientific materials that isolate properties such as size, texture, weight, sound, and shape. Includes Cylinder Blocks, Pink Tower, Brown Stairs, Red Rods, Color Tablets, and Sound Boxes.

Introducing math through concrete models. Starts with counting quantities (Number Rods, Sandpaper Numbers, Spindle Boxes), and covers decimal arithmetic operations using Golden Bead materials.

Fosters reading and writing skills through phonetic sounds. Trainees learn to use Sandpaper Letters, the Large Movable Alphabet, and Pink-Blue-Green language series.

Covers teaching geography puzzle maps, botany cabinets, zoology classification, history concepts, and a core grounding in child development stages.

Practical Lab Training

At Meet Montessori Institute, we believe you cannot learn Montessori pedagogy from a textbook. Practical training forms the backbone of our Diploma course.

Students spend regular sessions inside our well-equipped laboratory, learning the correct handling and verbal script for every apparatus. In addition to material handling, students undergo observation training and mandatory classroom internship hours to ensure complete readiness.
